Norwood Properties provides General Contracting and Construction Management Services, delivering commercial projects on time and on budget for clients in Middle Tennessee.

Community Outreach:

Norwood’s strong foundation of faith and community involvement push us to try and leave our ventured path better long after our footsteps are gone. Once each year we will elect a non profit job and build and complete the job without a profit component. We will volunteer annually for the following charities: United Way, Whoyouwith ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, Wounded Warriors and Thistle Farms.

Bill Bundy, Vice President & General Manager

Bill Bundy serves as General Manager of Norwood Properties and brings a highly diverse skill set to the company. After graduating from the University of Tennessee Knoxville with a BS in Public Administration in the Haslam School of Business, Bill started his career with McKesson Corporation, running business units in Tampa and Boston.

After returning to Nashville, he joined his family-owned low voltage construction business, Security Electronics, Inc., where he led the company to 47% YOY growth for over a decade. During his 20+ year tenure with the company, he led and oversaw the installation and development of security, parking control, and communications systems for over 40 million s.f. of space for industrial, commercial and government customers.

More recently at West Health Institute, Bill co-developed and lead advancement of the Institute’s charter project, Medical Grade Wireless Utility. Bill was on the founding leadership team of West Health spin-out Center for Medical Interoperability, and subsequently was co-founder and CEO of Trusted Wireless, Inc., a wireless network design and services business.

Over his career, Bill has led projects of substantial scope with Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools, Nissan Motor Manufacturing Company, Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority, E.I DuPont de Nemours and Company, and Ingalls Shipbuilding.

Bill has served in volunteer leadership roles for PSA Security Network and the ASIS International Nashville chapter, and board leadership roles for Buddies of Nashville and the Nashville Jazz Workshop. Bill is married and the father of three adult children and in his spare time, he enjoys hiking and riding his bicycle.

Dan McVicker, President & Founder

As President and founder of Norwood Properties, Dan McVicker has over 35 years of experience in the commercial real estate business. He combines the skills of a TN combined licensed commercial/industrial general contractor with his background in real estate law, commercial banking, office and industrial leasing, high rise office buildout, and industrial/office and residential construction.

Dan graduated from SMU’s Cox School of Business with a degree in finance and began his real estate journey as a commercial banking lender and developer of large-scale business parks and communities throughout the southeast with Lomas and Nettleton Financial Corp.

Notable projects Dan has managed include the 900,000 s.f. office buildout for Post Oak Central, a Gerald Hines developed, and classic Philip Johnson designed postmodern skyscraper complex in Uptown Houston, TX which includes three 24-story buildings totaling 1,300,000 s.f. of office with 90,000 s.f. of retail, and a 4,200 vehicle parking garage on 17 acres.

In addition to his involvement in Norwood Properties, Dan is currently Chairman and CEO of Ramston Capital, a real estate development and investment firm headquartered in Nashville, specializing in development of attainably priced multifamily housing and mixed-use projects across the southeastern US.

Dan’s success in business involvement in the Nashville Community and love for guiding young professionals are a tribute to his west Texas roots in faith and family. He is married and the father of twin daughters and for recreation enjoys mountaineering, snow skiing, and scuba diving.
